Vacuum concentrator - $1,875 each

Centrifugal force helps keep concentrated sample at bottom of tube for maximum recovery. To be used with a vacuum pump. Buyer's choice of 40-bore or 64-bore rotor.

Stoppering tray freeze dryer - $8,475

List: $26,700. MedCon: VG. Labconco stoppering tray dryer, model 77590. 115 V, 50/60 Hz. Use for freeze drying requires addition of a vacuum pump. Freezing operation in our test achieved -55° C without vacuum pump. The vial stoppering mechanism is achieved by inflatable diaphragm raising the bottom platform at the completion of the freeze drying cycle

Preparative radial thin layer chromatograph - $900

List: $2,900. MedCon: VG. Harrison Research Chromatotron centrifugally accelerated preparative chromatography device. Transformer converts 110 VAC to 20 VDC.

Features:

• inlet and wick to deliver sample and solvent
• substances being separated form concentric rings and are eluted and subject to capture at the outlet
• silica gel or alumina can be used as the chromatographic support
• UV absorbing bands may be visualized during chromatography
• centrifugal acceleration provides rapid separation and the flow-through does away with the need to scrape separated compounds from the support

Lypholizer freeze dryer with stoppering - $9,000
