Glovebox - $1,275

List: $3,700. MedCon: G. Stainless steel and leaded glass glovebox. Has a crack in the glass, otherwise would be rated in excellent condition. Unit removed from nuclear pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. Glass flips up, as shown, for entry and exit of samples and work pieces. unit unit has ventilation connections as shown. In use, samples and work are placed inside the box, then the glass is closed and sealed, then items may be handled inside the box in a sealed environment. Box could also be used as filled with an inert atmosphere, for example carbon dioxide or nitrogen, or under negative pressure with a nitrogen or other inert gas flush.

Portable laboratory hood - $1,275

List: $3,970. MedCon: G. In excellent condition except has damage to movable portion of plexiglass hood, which must be repaired by purchaser (needs a new piece of plexiglass made for it). Nuare animal bedding disposal hood. Units use a disposable HEPA filter, not included with the unit.

These units were removed from an installation using lab mice for production purposes. In use, these units were moved to each animal isolation chamber, where a technician removed the bedding from each isolation chamber and processed it under this hood. This hood prevents any material or contaminants present in the bedding material or animal waster from becoming airborne, exposing workers or other test subjects.

Laboratory biological hood - $975

List: $1,970. MedCon: G. This small LabConco fume hood includes a UV and fluorescent light switch, a blower with intensity control, receptacles' control, and a device to measure water levels. There are also lower doors for materials and an upper door to the hood. The external dimensions are:

• 26” long
• 36” wide
• 30” deep

Uses replaceable filters which can be supplied by LabConco.

Lab hood - $1,500

MedCon: N. List: $5,300. Hamilton model Vectaire fume hood, about 2 years old. 4' wide, contain electrical outlet, filer, 4 gas taps, light and switch. 33" deep, 48" wide, 62" high above counter top. Does not include countertop or stand.
