Gamma counter, bench top - $3,750

List: $27,600. MedCon: G. Packard Cobra auto-gamma model A5005 bench top gamma counter. A fully automatic, cassette driven system for high-volume sample analysis. The advantage of gamma counting over liquid scintillation counting is that no scintillation media is used in the sample via, using a higher energy level gamma ray than the alpha or beta particles detected by liquid scintillation.
