The back of this unit has connections for analog signals, a digital serial interface, external parameter interface, and a parallel system interface. One popular clinical application of this device is to monitor how well a baby is doing during birth. For example, when contractions of the uterus are plotted against the baby's heart rate, attending physicians can see if the baby is starting to get into distress.

List: $9,460 each. MedCon: EX. made by Hillrom. This set consists of 1 bassinet with 1 matching baby warmer. Unit new in September 1995. The warmer docks with the bassinet, so the units may be wheeled around as one unit. Then, by pulling a release lever on the bassinet, the units may be separated.
