Motorized X-ray film viewer - $2,750

Features:

• motor-driven advance and reverse of 100 loading positions (sequentially numbered) for four x-ray films each in 12 inch sleeves
• individual light switches for each quadrant of viewing area; the right photograph above shows the appearance with one quadrant illuminated
• five position light intensity dial
• adjustable shutters for each quadrant
• film advance switches at middle of control panel for dedicated viewing and at side of unit for use without blocking audience view while lecturing
• protective closure when not in use (left photograph above)

List: $11,620. MedCon: EX. Vidi viewer model 3000 motorized x-ray film viewer, made by diversified x-ray products. Units were new in 1993, and have sat unused in a warehouse since 1996.

Features:

• holds up to 200 full-sized (14 by 17 in.) x-ray films
• upper view bank holds four films for viewing
• lower bank holds up to 200 films, may be viewed four at a time
• upper bank of lights may be dimmed from off to full brightness, either individually or all the same time
• lower bank of lights has a hot light, which may be turned up or down
• has three film travel modes, continuous normal, continuous fast, and auto frame seek
• foot control moves from one set of four to the next set of four, either forward or backward
• unit has a collapsible work table in front, that may be lowered for moving unit through doorways
• on castors
• built-in storage on bottom of unit for films
