Franklin head stand x-ray - $3,750

unit, for x-rays of the head and extremities. This is the classic head x-ray
unit, by Liebel Flarsheim.
Room features:
- Maxiray 75r tube, new in May, 1992
- stand itself new in 1982
- due to hospital closure, room was taken out of daily use in 1997, but
kept under power and maintenance.
- Stand has additional feature of tomography
- may be used for head and extremity shots, such as ankle, foot, hand,
wrist, knee and elbow, and standing knees. Unit is not appropriate for chest
shots

The stand features:
- adjustable height overall, with a travel from 2 to 7 feet off of the
floor
- entire mechanism rotates around x and y horizontal axis
- bucky may be adjusted with respect to the x-ray tube, horizontally,
vertically, and two angles.
- distance between tube and bucky may be adjusted
- tube may be positioned relative to bucky
- tube may also be rocked through angles for tomography
- tube and bucky may be rotated as a unit, or independently of each
other
The tomography control has the following settings:
- angular amplitude: 10, 20, 30 or 40 degrees
- amplitude in seconds: 0.5 0 3.0, depending on angle
- electric brake release
Shipping weight is about 850 pounds.
