Microsurgery filter/foot switch - $975

List: $6,200. MedCon: G. HGM Series 50/Series 60 microsurgery filter/foot switch. Footswitch has connectors for filter unit and hgm laser. Filter barrel inserts into light path of surgical microscope and allows blocking filter to move in synchrony with laser operation. Diameter of the filter barrel is 70 mm and the dovetail flange is 49.5 mm.

Lasag Microruptor II Photo disruptive laser, made by Lasag AG in Switzerland. unit new in 1985. this laser was designed by Prof. Franz Frankhauser MD of the University Bern Switzerland, with specific vitreous laser surgery abilities. Unlike some other YAG lasers, this unit can be precisely focused to a 6 mu. spot size. It may be used, safely, in the vitreous near the retina.
