There are a number of features that are a pant with use of this machine that make it easy to use and to capture meaningful information for patient treatment.

included with this machine is a special probe resembling an endoscope, in fact , it uses endoscopic technology to drop an ultrasonic probe (located at its tip) into a patient's esophagus or other opening or orifice. this probe has directional controls both left and right and up-and-down by varying the location and direction of where the probe is pointing, specific information may be taken of heart flow without the rib cage interfering as this is an internal shot one probe may be used to locate the other, so extremely accurate pinpointing and visualization is possible.

Cardiovascular Doppler ultrasound - $2,275

List: $29,400. MedCon: VG. Hoffrel Instruments system, model 518SD+, with 2 probes, new in 1986. Black and white vascular doppler machine. No VCR, includes Mitsubishi P60u video printer. With model 617 spectrum analyzer, which analyzes and displays the audio frequency output of the doppler.

Allows visualization and quantification of blood flow conditions at the exam site.

With 2 probes:

• 7.5 MHz, 1.5 cm focus, model 426. This probe is optimized for tissue very close to the probe surface, primarily for real time evaluation of the carotid vessel system.
